The clients wanted a small roof over their side access door. We decided to follow the shape of the arched brick above the door opening. Wester red cedar strips were steam-bent to the desired radius. The rest of the framing utilizes traditional mortise & tenon joinery to ensure strength, as well as add details in keeping with the craftsman styling of the house.
